The recruiting landscape has changed considerably over the years with the evolution of applicant tracking and social media solutions. Yet, in many ways, it remains eerily the same, riddled with manual one-off processes.  Every hiring manager in the workforce has been held hostage by this antiquated process.  But why?  With the availability of data today and the recent developments in data technology and practices, we can solve this problem.  

TalentScout was formed by Silicon Valley executives to tackle this business challenge.   With years of experience and an acute understanding of the issues faced by recruiters and hiring managers, the TalentScout team intends to revolutionize the recruiting process through a data-driven approach.

Our Team

Oliver Deng
Founder

A technology visionary, Oliver Deng has extensive experience in applying big data technology to solve real-world business problems. Prior to co-founding headhuntr.io, Oliver was co-founder, CFO, and Chief Product Officer at Salesify, a leading sales acceleration company, where he drove 13-fold revenue growth from 2009-2015, and oversaw the development of two visionary sales intelligence platforms, TechLeads Online and B2B Signals. Salesify was acquired by Ziff Davis/J2 Global in 2015.  Prior to Salesify, Oliver held senior positions in finance and sales operations at  Symantec and Lucent. It is his successful track record and keen vision that Oliver brings to the TalentScout team. 

Sanjay Melwani
Founder

As co-founder of TalentScout, Sanjay Melwani brings over 20 years of Operations and Finance experience to the company.  Sanjay previously served as Sr. Director Business Operations at Nuance Communications. In this chief of staff role, he was responsible for leading cross-divisional operations as well as managing the office of the CEO. Prior to Nuance, he held senior finance and operations roles at companies in multiple industries, such as Ipsen/Tercia, PhotonDynamics and Lucent. Sanjay has been known to drive global success in key operational roles. Through this time, Sanjay became familiar with the inherent problems in the recruiting processes and brings this wealth of knowledge to the TalentScout team.
